Last weekend, 28-30th March, Jan Przyrowski competed at the Spanish MotorLand Aragon track during the first round of the F4 Spanish Championship in the 2025 season. The Academy Motorsport ORLEN protégé won two out of three races and became the vice-leader in the general classification.

Great pace and attack mode

Even during the test and training sessions, the Polish driver was in the top. This confirmed the great form that we saw in the E4 Spanish Winter Championship, in which the 16-year-old from Rossoszyca won the most races out of all the competitors. After the runner-up position, Jan Przyrowski continued working on fighting for more triumphs at the beginning of the main season in the Spanish Formula 4. This was achieved and in the following part we will tell you what the last weekend looked like at the MotorLand Aragon track.

The protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN finished the first qualifications in 6th position. In race no. 1, the goal was to fight for the podium. The start itself was very successful, because Przyrowski gained one position and was preparing for another overtaking. At that time, together with 2 rivals, they were driving very close to each other and the Polish driver found himself between two cars. A little later, the front wing was damaged, which forced a pit stop and deprived the 16-year-old of any chance of returning to the points zone.

After an unlucky Saturday, it was time for a very good Sunday. The second qualifying session and 2nd starting position showed that Jan Przyrowski has great pace. However, the time trial determined the order for race no. 3, and along the way there was a slightly shorter, 25-minute (+ 1 lap) competition, in which our compatriot started from 9th position. The first lap was great, because already during it he got to 5th place and then continued his progress, breaking through to 2nd place. There was still enough time to put pressure on the leader of the competition, but he managed to defend himself. A few hours after the competition, it turned out that Jan Lammers received a time penalty for repeatedly breaking track limits. This meant that the Rossoszyn driver advanced to 1st place!

There was still a third race to go, and the vice-champion of the E4 Spanish Winter Championship also entered it with the hope of fighting for victory. The start from 2nd place itself did not quite go as Jan Przyrowski had planned, which is why he lost 2 positions. During the competition, it was clear that the Pole’s pace was great and after regaining one position, the driver of Griffin Core by Campos immediately put pressure on the leaders, Lammers and Strauven. They were close to separating them several times. It was also known from the information on Live Timing that the driving of the rivals was under the scrutiny of the judges. Ultimately, after the race, both received time penalties, which pushed them behind Jan Przyrowski.

The 16-year-old from Rossoszyca won two races at MotorLand Aragon, showing great pace and racecraft in the most important moments. Jan Przyrowski complied with the regulations and did a great job. It is certainly a pity that we were not able to listen to Mazurek Dąbrowski during the decoration. There will be many more opportunities for this this season.

Jan Przyrowski is vice-leader of the general standings

After the first round of the season, Jan Przyrowski holds a high 2nd place in the general standings. The Pole has 43 points and is only two points behind the leader Thomas Strauven.

Impressions of the Polish driver after the inauguration of the F4 Spanish Championship

The protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN was pleased with the weekend in Alcaniz. He won 2 races on one of the favorite tracks in the F4 Spanish Championship calendar.

I rate the weekend at MotorLand Aragon as very good, the pace was constant, in the races I actually managed to win twice. It’s just a shame about the first one, where there was contact between me and my rival and unfortunately I lost my front wing because of it, I had to pit and lost a lot of positions because of it. But overall the weekend promised to be very good and it was, so I’m very happy with it – emphasized Jan Przyrowski.

During the next round in Navarra I’m of course counting on scoring as many points as possible, winning three races and taking two pole positions. I know that it’s possible, because I had very good pace there during the Spanish Winter Championship. I hope that this will simply stay with me and I will be able to achieve the best possible result for the championship, so that I can maybe get a little ahead of my rivals – added the 16-year-old.

I don’t really have a longer break between rounds, because I have 4 days of tests ahead of me – 2 in Barcelona and 2 in Navarra. And before these 4 days I will go to Alzira in Valencia to train on the simulator and simply work in the workshop with engineers, mechanics and prepare as best I can.

I would like to thank the Academy Motorsport ORLEN , as well as all my sponsors, for their support. Once again, I would like to thank the companies ORLEN, Geothermal Solutions and Repiński Transport – said Jan Przyrowski after the inaugural round of the F4 Spanish Championship in Alcañiz.

Another round in May

Now we have over a month’s break from racing ahead of us. Jan Przyrowski and the F4 Spanish Championship are back in action on 2nd-4th May. The competition will move to the Navarra facility, where the E4 Spanish Winter Championship ended. On this track, the protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN won the race in difficult conditions, so the attitude can only be positive.
