The last round of the 2025 season in the E4 Spanish Winter Championship, which took place at the Navarra track in Spain. Jan Przyrowski won his fourth race in the F4 category and secured the vice-championship of the series. However, this is only the beginning, because at the end of March we will see the protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN in Aragon during the inauguration of the F4 Spanish Championship.

Great pace and racecraft

Friday’s training sessions have already shown us that Jan Przyrowski has great pace. The driver from Rossoszyca took second place twice with a minimal loss to the leader. On Saturday, he managed to confirm his form and the protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN won the 2nd starting position, which heralded great excitement in the races.

The first competition went great. In very difficult conditions, on a wet track, the Pole was looking for a place to attack his rival from the very beginning. The opportunity came at turn 5, where they managed to find a way to catch Thomas Strauven. The Belgian later had to watch out more for his rivals from behind, and Jan Przyrowski even got away by 3.5 seconds. The pace was excellent. Unfortunately, a moment later, due to several cars going off the track, we had another neutralization. After it ended, the 16-year-old found himself under pressure from his teammate Griffin Core by Campos. There was a lot of wheel-to-wheel fighting, but then we could see the great racecraft of the driver from Rossoszyca.

The next sessions did not go as Jan Przyrowski had planned. In the sprint, after starting from 9th position, he managed to advance, but later the Polish driver was between two cars and lost a little due to an incident. Then he returned to the fight for 7th place and brought it to the finish line. Unfortunately, after the race, the judges gave a controversial 5-second penalty, which pushed him to 13th place and meant losing 4 points. Despite this situation, Przyrowski was still in the fight for the title.

Finally, the vice-championship title for the Pole

On Sunday morning, it rained again and then most of the teams got lost in the time trial. Finally, the Pole started from 13th place, and his main rival from 10th. The race itself took place on a dry track and created opportunities to attack. Jan Przyrowski took advantage of every opportunity and quickly broke into the Top 10. However, due to the mistakes of his rivals, he was eliminated from the competition and thus dropped out of the fight for big points. However, great form throughout the winter season and achievements from previous competitions contributed to securing the vice-championship of the E4 Spanish Winter Championship.

Jan Przyrowski summed up the winter season

The protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN was satisfied with his form during the E4 Spanish Winter Championship 2025. Compared to the 2024 season, the pace improved significantly, and the work done with Campos brought great results. Four race wins and 118 points in 3 rounds. Now it’s time for the next challenges in the Spanish Formula 4.

Overall, the weekend at the Navarra track started for me in the best possible way, with a win. Then, in the sprint, a small mistake I made eliminated my chances for the podium. However, in the last competition of the E4 Spanish Winter Championship series, I was hit by my rival once again, as a result of which I ended the race prematurely, in which I could have fought for the podium and the championship – said Jan Przyrowski.

I would definitely need more luck during the main season in the F4 Spanish Championship. Apart from that, nothing more is needed, because the pace is there, as well as the racecraft. Now I am focusing on preparations for MotorLand Aragon and continue my hard work in the gym and on the simulator in the Campos – he added.

I would also like to thank the Academy Motorsport ORLEN and all my sponsors for their support, enabling starts and achieving good results. Once again, I would like to thank ORLEN, Geothermal Solutions and Repiński Transport – concluded the vice-champion of the E4 Spanish Winter Championship.

When will the next races with the participation of a Polish driver be held?

In less than three weeks, on 28-30 March, the inaugural round of the Spanish Formula 4 will take place at the MotorLand Aragon track. Jan Przyrowski and the Griffin Core by Campos team will try to transfer their excellent form to the main season. The goal is to fight for the championship, for which the Polish driver will compete with the best drivers from around the world.
