This coming weekend, 2nd-4th May, Jan Przyrowski returns to racing in the F4 Spanish Championship. The protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN will compete on the Navarra track in Los Arcos, Spain, for the second time this year. The driver from Rossoszyca will fight to improve his winter achievements on this track and advance in the general standings.

The history of the Navarra circuit “in a nutshell”

The Spanish track was built in 2009 and opened in 2010. It meets the FIA Grade 2 licensing requirements. It can be mainly associated with organizing motorcycle and GT car races. In the past, however, Superleague Formula competed there, a rather interesting series in which teams competed under the brand of football clubs.

Even along the way, Formula 1 had its episode on the Navarra circuit. In 2018, the McLaren team held a film day, the so-called shakedown. At that time, Fernando Alonso tested the MCL33 model. Since 2022, the owner is the MSV Group, which is known for overseeing various series in Great Britain. Last year, the track was renovated and at that time there were no races on it. Currently, its loop is 4.313 km long and is characterized by 16 turns. The track is quite technically demanding, but with a good set-up it becomes more enjoyable to drive. It is also worth mentioning that the Circuito de Navarra is located in the north of Spain and is often much colder than other tracks and there is usually a high chance of rain.

Jan Przyrowski has already won on this track

As part of the E4 Spanish Winter Championship, the protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN won the first race on the Navarra track on 8th March this year. Jan Przyrowski’s great drive in changing conditions and an intense battle with his teammate, Thomas Strauven, provided the fans with a lot of excitement. Unfortunately, the sprint and the second race did not go our compatriot’s way. In the first case, there was an unfortunate contact, and the final competition after a great start ended with the opponent excluding him, which then excluded Przyrowski from the fight for the winter championship. You could say that that weekend was bittersweet, which is why the goal for the upcoming weekend is to fight for pole position and three victories. Fighting attitude before the second round of the season.

The driver from Rossoszyca has had a very good start to the 2025 season in the Spanish Formula 4. Jan Przyrowski won two out of three races at the MotorLand Aragon track and is currently in 2nd place in the general classification. The gap to the leader is only 2 points, which is a great harbinger of excitement before the upcoming second round.

I am very excited that I will be able to race again. During the break, we worked a lot in the workshop and on the simulator. My goal is of course to win and score as many points as possible – said Jan Przyrowski.
