The first round of the E4 Spanish Winter Championship at the Jerez track is behind us, in which Jan Przyrowski showed himself from a great side. The protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN won two races, was fifth in the sprint and set the fastest lap time in the race on Sunday. A very strong opening of the 2025 season made Polish driver the undisputed leader of the general standing.

Jan Przyrowski dominated the competition in Jerez

From the very beginning of the race weekend at the Jerez track, the 16-year-old showed great pace. In Friday’s training sessions, he took first and fourth place respectively. Then on Saturday, Jan Przyrowski dominated the first qualifying session, beating 2nd Thomas Strauven by almost 0.4 seconds.

In the race, the protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN gave no chance to his rivals, among whom were also juniors from the Red Bull Junior Team, i.e. Christopher El Feghali. There was a lot going on during race 1, especially in the middle of the pack. However, even frequent safety car trips and restarts did not prevent the driver from Rossoszyca from achieving his first triumph in the F4 category.

Shortly after the first competition, it was time for the sprint. At that time, the order for the top ten was reversed. Unfortunately, for a slight violation of the rules during one of the restarts, the judges punished the 16-year-old with a 3-position drop, which meant that he started from 13th place. Jan Przyrowski was very motivated to finish the competition as high as possible. After his main rivals Thomas Strauven and Christopher El Feghali were eliminated from the fight for points, the Pole calmly approached the break-through. Despite this, he quickly advanced to 8th place, and then overtook his rivals almost every lap. Thanks to this, he finished the competition in 5th position.

Sunday was even better

A great Saturday in the E4 Spanish Winter Championship meant that on Sunday, the positively pumped up Jan Przyrowski reached for the full points. First, he added 2 points for pole position in the second qualifying, and then added 26 points in the race. The 16-year-old from Rossoszyca won his second race and additionally set the best lap time. This only made him decisively take the lead in the winter championship.

Polish driver delighted after a great start to the 2025 season

Jan Przyrowski, representing Griffin Core by Campos, showed that hard work, perseverance, passion and support from close circles are important in motorsport. A great start to the second season in the F4 category additionally puts us in a positive frame of mind before the next competitions.

I couldn’t have imagined the start of the 2025 season better. I took pole position twice and won two races! In between, in the sprint, in which I started from 13th position, I moved up to fifth place. At the beginning of the weekend in Jerez, I felt that I had the pace and together with Griffin Core by Campos we could fight for victories. I’m glad it worked out! We have been waiting for this for a long time! – emphasized Jan Przyrowski.

In Portimao I count on continuing the fight for pole position and victories, which are extremely important in terms of maintaining the lead in the general classification of the E4 Spanish Winter Championship. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I would like to take this opportunity to thank my family, friends, fans and my partners, ORLEN, Geothermal Solutions and Repiński Transport i Spedycja, for supporting me – emphasized the protégé of the Academy Motorsport ORLEN.
