This coming weekend, 24-26th October, Jan Przyrowski will take on a new challenge in his career. The protégé of the ORLEN Motorsport Academy and Prosperity Investment Management will compete in the final round of the FRECA (Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine) at the Monza circuit with the RPM team. The goal of the upcoming races in the faster category will be to gain experience in the new car and gain speed before a potential step forward in the 2026 season.

Polish driver to experience a legendary track

Although the racing driver from Rossoszyca has spent a significant portion of his career racing in Italy, he has yet to race at the legendary Autodromo Nazionale di Monza in a single-seater. Combined with the fact that this will be Jan Przyrowski’s first experience in a new car, faster than the F4, this means a significant challenge awaits him. However, this is not the kind of challenge he has faced before during his motorsport career.

The Polish driver had the opportunity to test the Tatuus FR-19’s twin, the Tatuus T-318-EC3, which competes in Eurocup 3, once in rainy conditions. It showed great promise then, and Przyrowski himself had a lot of fun driving it. This time, the challenge will be completely different, as he faces his debut race weekend in the FRECA series at the fastest track on the calendar. Quick adaptation to the car and the conditions will be necessary, while most of his rivals have logged a lot of mileage behind the wheel of the same machine. Therefore, Przyrowski is fully focused on working with the RPM team and achieving rapid progress together.

Last season, the Race Performance Motorsport team guided Noah Stromsted to 6th place overall and the title of Best Rookie. The Dane later confirmed his good form in FIA F3. Furthermore, he and Jan Przyrowski share the same common thread, having raced with the Campos team in Spanish Formula 4. The RPM team possesses significant potential and is capable of collaborating with talented young drivers. One of the Pole’s rivals for the overall podium in the Spanish Formula 4, Ean Eyckmans, was able to compete in three FRECA rounds occasionally, not only gaining experience, but even scoring points.

Jan Przyrowski is ready for his next challenge

“I’m about to start in the FRECA series, which has already developed many young racing drivers. I’m very grateful to the Italian RPM team for their trust in giving me the opportunity to test myself in a car faster than the F4. And all of this will happen on a track like Monza, where I couldn’t wait to compete. Of course, I hope I can support the team as best I can and we’ll learn as much as possible together. I’m not setting any performance goals, because I have a big challenge ahead of me and I want to focus on the best possible preparation. I’m starting practically from scratch, so I’m glad we’re starting testing on Thursday, as I have a lot to learn. Of course, I want to show my best and hope to cause a positive surprise,” said Jan Przyrowski after the announcement of his start with the RPM team.
